Hello, fellow adventurers of family life! We’re so glad you’re here.

We are Lisa and Lynnette, an unstoppable mother-daughter duo building a family business, and we’re on a mission to pursue our passions, achieve more balance, revel in all of the joys (and pains) of motherhood, be more mindful of what truly matters in life and, of course, have some fun together. You know, basically living our best lives and helping other women like us to live their best lives too!

We started our family business in 2021 as a means of challenging ourselves, spending more time together and ok, maybe a *little bit* funding a tropical vacation we went on to escape the freezing Michigan winter, haha. We’re so excited to scale our small business (complete with this brand new website) and share our words of wisdom along the way.

Lisa, wife and mother of two littles, grew up in a small town in Michigan with big city dreams which took her to live in Chicago, New York City, Chicago (again), Houston and Minneapolis. In a moment of clarity brought on by the pandemic, she and her family made the decision to move back to their home state of Michigan where they currently reside. Lisa enjoys playing with her sons, spending time with her hubby, drinking wine, crafting, meditating, traveling, entertaining and spending as much time outdoors during the summer months as possible.

Lynnette, wife and mother of three adult children (including Lisa!), is a former stay-at-home mom and nurse who spent a mere one month enjoying her retirement before partnering with her daughter, Lisa, in starting a family business. She is the oldest of SIX children and a beloved grammy to four grandsons and two granddaughters so suffice to say she knows a thing or two about family. Lynnette enjoys going for date nights with her hubby, gardening, shopping, taking long walks around her neighborhood and, last but not least, relishing time spent with her large family.

As we explore a range of topics that are very near and dear to our hearts, we encourage you to share your thoughts, experiences, and wisdom as we all go through this amazing journey we call life together.
